At Experts in Expedition, we believe everyone should be able to explore the world, discover new places and access useful expedition information.
We are committed to making our website as accessible and easy to use as reasonably possible for everyone, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technologies.
Our commitment
We aim to make our website accessible by following recognised accessibility principles and, where reasonably practicable, working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
We aim to provide a website that is:
* Easy to navigate and understand
* Accessible using a keyboard
* Compatible with commonly used screen readers and assistive technologies
* Presented with clear and readable text
* Designed with appropriate colour contrast
* Usable across different screen sizes and devices
* Structured with meaningful headings and links
* Supported by alternative text for important images where appropriate
Content and third-party services
Some content or functionality on our website may be provided by third-party services, such as booking platforms, social-media feeds, maps, video platforms or other external services.
We cannot always control the accessibility of third-party content or platforms. Where possible, we aim to choose services that provide appropriate accessibility features.
Some older content, documents or third-party material may not fully meet our accessibility goals.
Ongoing improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly review our website and look for ways to improve its usability and accessibility.
If you encounter an accessibility issue, we would appreciate hearing from you so that we can investigate and, where reasonably possible, make improvements.
